Prestwold hall did not disappoint!
As I walked up the path to the grand entrance - I felt as though I had stumbled across, and into a Jane Austen novel.
What a fabulous venue for a wedding!
Here is a lovely group photo of the lovely family - just outside Prestwold Hall
Rebecca contacted me only a few weeks before her wedding - and booked herself, two bridesmaids and mother in for makeup.
Rebecca had a natural beauty - which we enhanced.
Bridal makeup is one of my favourite makeups for this very reason - we want to enhance the natural beauty, so it shines through.
Rebecca was a typical English Rose - with a gorgeous ivory skin.
We used MAC face and body in C1 to give a soft sheen and delicate glow to the skin. This foundation is one of my favourites for bridal makeup - and it looks gorgeous in photographs.
On Rebeccas eyes we used soft browns to enhance the blue.
Rebecca had never worn false lashes - and we both agreed they didnt really fit in with the whole look, so to add a little glamour - and more thickness to her lashes we cut a pair, only using the outer edges.
This gave a lift and curl to her natural lashes - and opend up her eyes.
On her lips we used MAC in Creme cup - a soft - cool toned pink.
Congratulations Rebecca - and thank you for using Ruth Elizabeth Makeup for your special day!
