Bridal Makeup - Leicester/Nottingham/Derby

With Bridal enquiries, now flooding in for 2015/2016, there are a few queries that regularly pop up. So to make it all a bit easier for you - I thought I would compile a quick, Q&A post!

How long have you been working as a Makeup Artist?
I have worked 13 years in Makeup. Working for companies such as Benefit Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown and MAC Cosmetics.

Are you qualified in Makeup?
Yes, I trained at Brushstrokes Makeup school in London.

Are you insured.
Yes. I am insured as a Makeup artist/Makeup teacher.

Where are you based, and what areas do you cover?
I cover Leicester/Derby/Nottingham as a Bridal Makeup artist. I can travel further afield. Minimum booking and travel costs apply.

What products do you use in your kit?
I use a range of products in my professional kit. I will have brands you will have heard of, and others you possibly haven't.
Working as a Makeup artist, full time - it's common practise to trial new products and also be sent products to try.
I use:

MAC
Bobbi Brown
Tom Ford
Anastasia Beverley Hills
LA Girl
Mehron
Cinema secrets
Stila
Inglot
Illamasqua
Kanebo
To name a few!

Do you only work as a Bridal Makeup artist?
Due to the high demand for bridal makeup for 2015/2016 - I am now only specialising in Bridal/Photography/Teaching.
Party/occasion makeup bookings are still being taken - but only fitting around current bookings and if my diary will allow.

Can you hold my wedding date?
Due to the busy nature of Bridal bookings, and the daily influx of queries - it's not unusual for particular dates - especially over summer - to crop up more than once. If you have not officially booked me by placing down a deposit - I cannot hold a date for you.

Do you have a website where I can see your work?
Ruth Elizabeth official website

I hope this helps! If you are getting married 2015/2016 - or know someone who is, I still have a few dates left for this year and am now taking 2016 bookings.
